Mobile Phlebotomy Independent Contractor Description

Market potential would be a 70-mile radius from Orlando Metro.

Responsibilities:

- Perform blood sampling and phlebotomy procedures on patients in various settings, including homes and assisted living facilities .

- Utilize aseptic technique to ensure the safety and accuracy of blood collection.

- Follow laboratory procedures and protocols for specimen handling and processing.

- Maintain accurate records of patient information.

- Provide excellent patient service by ensuring their comfort and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.

- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure proper specimen collection and delivery.

- Maintaining proper supply inventory

Requirements:

- Valid Phlebotomy certification, experience, and training

- Valid Driver’s License

- Very reliable, independent transportation

- Valid Automobile and Professional Liability Insurance

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols accurately

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Compensation Structure: Per collection, per visit, or per assignment basis

Expected patient appointments: 50+ per week

Schedule: Day shift/Monday through Friday

Travel requirement: Local/70-mile radius of Orlando
