About the Role
ACT Group, a leading heavy equipment and industrial services company serving major oil & gas clients including Aramco and SABIC, is hiring an experienced Mobile Workshop Mechanical Engineer to join our maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mobile/heavy equipment including loaders, dozers, excavators, cranes, and forklifts
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems, diesel engines, transmissions, and electrical control systems
• Follow OEM manuals, manufacturer guidelines, and industry best practices for all repair and maintenance work
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance logs, and documentation
• Coordinate with workshop team, supervisors, and clients to ensure timely equipment turnaround
• Support preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or equivalent technical qualification
• 5–8 years of hands-on experience in mobile/heavy equipment maintenance and repair
• Strong working knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, transmissions, and electrical control systems
• Familiarity with OEM manuals and maintenance standards (Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, or similar)
• Good English communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong coordination and reporting skills
• Prior experience in oil & gas, construction, or industrial services sector preferred
• Transferable Iqama preferred (for candidates currently in KSA)
