Zaytoun Catering is a mobile catering company serving weddings, private parties, corporate events, and brand activations across North Jersey and the New York metro, with some events in Pennsylvania. Every drink we serve is alcohol free, so we are building a mocktail program that proves a zero proof menu can be just as creative, beautiful, and memorable as anything behind a traditional bar.
We are looking for one bartender or mixologist who lights up behind the bar, knows how to build flavor without relying on alcohol, and treats every guest interaction like it matters. If you love the craft of drink building and want to work events without the late night bar grind, this could be a great fit.
Important: most events are in North Jersey and occasionally New York. Reliable transportation is required. Please only apply if you can consistently get yourself to event locations across NJ and NY.
What you will do:
Build and serve mocktails from our signature menu and create occasional custom drinks for guests on the spot. Set up and break down the mobile bar at each event, including ice, garnishes, glassware, and tools. Engage guests with warmth and a little flair, answering questions about ingredients and helping them pick a drink they will love. Keep your station clean, organized, and stocked throughout service. Work closely with the event lead to stay on timing and adjust to whatever the day brings.
What we are looking for:
One to three years of bartending, barista, or beverage experience. A real interest in flavor, technique, and the growing zero proof movement. Strong people skills and a calm presence in a busy environment. Reliable transportation to event locations across NJ and NY (this one is a must). Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for the length of a shift. Weekend availability.
Nice to have:
Experience with syrup making, shrubs, infusions, or fresh juice prep. Food handler or responsible beverage service certification. A portfolio or photos of drinks you have built.
What we offer:
