Urgent Hiring: Model Maker – Abu Dhabi (On-Site)

ARC 3D Printing Solutions LLC – Abu Dhabi’s leading 3D printing and model-making studio – is looking for a hands-on Model Maker with 2–3 years of real workshop experience in architectural and prototype model fabrication.

Note:
This is not a designing or architecture job.
We’re looking for physical model makers who work with their hands assembling, cutting, sanding, wiring, finishing and bringing real models to life.
Architects or designers looking for desk-based design roles should not apply.

What You’ll Do

• Build architectural, display, and prototype models from start to finish physically.
• Interpret drawings/CAD into accurate real-world components.
• Perform cutting, bending, laser/CNC fabrication, and assembly work.
• Handle fitment, magnets, hinges, and moving parts with precision.
• Manage LED wiring, soldering, and light integration.
• Carry out sanding, priming, painting, masking, and surface texturing.
• Work confidently with acrylic, MDF, foam, resin, PLA, PETG, and metals.
• Conduct quality checks for finishing, joinery, and transport safety.
• Maintain a clean, organized workshop and follow safety protocols.

What You’ll Bring

• 2–3 years of proven model-making experience (architectural, props, or prototype workshop).
• Strong hand skills: cutting, sanding, filing, finishing — no rough edges.
• Basic electrical understanding (LEDs, soldering, wiring).
• Familiarity with adhesives, epoxies, and solvent welding.
• Ability to read and measure drawings accurately.
• A problem-solving mindset and team spirit.

Nice to Have

• Airbrush or advanced paint/texture finishing skills.
• Experience with interactive or museum-grade models.
• Basic CAD knowledge for jig or fixture adjustments.
