Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of affected areas to identify mold presence and extent of contamination
• Perform mold remediation procedures using appropriate cleaning techniques, hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
• Utilize industry-standard restoration practices to remove mold from surfaces, HVAC systems, and building materials
• Prepare work sites by setting up containment barriers and ensuring proper safety protocols are followed
• Assist with water damage restoration efforts and fire restoration projects as needed to support comprehensive property recovery
• Use carpet cleaning, asbestos abatement, and other remediation techniques when applicable to ensure complete environmental safety
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports, remediation steps, and safety records

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the restoration industry with a focus on mold remediation or related fields such as water damage or fire restoration
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, hand tools, power tools, and construction basics relevant to remediation work
• Familiarity with asbestos abatement procedures is a plus but not required
• Strong understanding of health and safety standards within the restoration industry
• Ability to operate various equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to protocols
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in assessing damage and executing remediation plans
• Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, crawling, and working in confined spaces
