This Monitor Tech Unit Clerk/or CCT is a full time night shift or Per Diem day shift opportunity on our Medical Tele Unit and offers a convenient night shift that designates a set schedule of Sunday, Monday, and Tuesdays for the full time opportunity or three (3) Sundays a month for the Per Diem role. We are looking for a dynamic Monitor Tech Unit Clerk/or CCT that will monitor cardiac rhythms via direct cardiac screen or telemetry monitors. Meets communication needs of the department. Transcribes physician orders from records with notation and signatures by nursing staff. Prepares and compiles records in the department. Maintains regulatory body requirements, policies and procedures and participates in performance improvement activities Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates competency in interpreting dysrhythmias.
• Completes annual testing of arrhythmia competency
• Competent in all skills on the Monitor Technician skills checklist
• Monitors ECG signals at the central monitoring station, notifies RN immediately about sysrhythmias to the primary or charge RN

Requirements:

• High School diploma or the equivalent
• CNA license preferred, or Certified Nursing Assistant OR EMT Certification required for CCT role
• Annual completion of ECG test for CCT role
• BLS Certification required.
• Must have Monitor Tech experience with reading ECG interpretation and be able to pass a competency test prior to be hired on.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Word processing.

Pay: $18.13 - $27.20 per hour
