Montessori Advanced teacher

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Montessori Advanced Teacher to guide students at the advanced level using Montessori philosophy and practices. The teacher will support students’ academic, social, and emotional development through a prepared environment that encourages independence, curiosity, and lifelong learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement Montessori principles and methods in an advanced-level classroom
• Prepare and maintain a well-organized Montessori learning environment
• Guide students through individualized and small-group lessons
• Observe, assess, and document student progress regularly
• Foster independence, self-discipline, and responsibility in students
• Support the development of critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
• Integrate cultural studies, mathematics, language, and practical life activities as appropriate
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student development and progress
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school meetings and professional development

Qualifications & Requirements

• Montessori certification at the Advanced / Upper Elementary level=
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (preferred)
• Experience teaching in a Montessori advanced classroom
• Strong understanding of child development at the advanced level
• Commitment to Montessori philosophy and continuous professional growth

• Ability to guide rather than direct student learning
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Organized, patient, and adaptable teaching approach
