Montessori Certified PreK Teacher - Walnut Creek Campus

Springfield is seeking passionate and dedicated individuals in the field of Early Childhood Education that are bright, and caring individuals who are present with the children.

Requirements:

• Montessori certification Required (MACTE, AMS or AMI.)
• Minimum of one year of experience teaching in a preschool setting.
• Strong understanding of the Montessori philosophy and its application in the classroom desired.
• Experience creating a warm, inviting, and stimulating learning environment.
• Ability to develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with Montessori curriculum.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for working with young children.

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain a prepared Montessori classroom environment.
• Guide and observe children as they engage in self-directed learning activities.
• Present Montessori materials and lessons in a clear and concise manner.
• Document children's progress and development using Montessori observation methods.
• Create & maintain excellent consistent communication with parents and guardians verbally, in writing and via ProCare.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive learning experience for all children.
• Maintain & updated continuously classroom parent portal site on ProCare.
