Montessori Preschool Assistant Director

Join Our Team as a Full-Time Assistant Director at Our Preschool!

We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced Preschool Assistant Director to join our team full-time. This role is perfect for a passionate early childhood professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and loves working with children, staff, and families.

Schedule:

• Regular hours: 9:15am-6:15pm
• Must be able to work the opening shift (7:00am-4:00pm) twice a month.

Key Responsibilities:

Front Office Duties:

• Supervise and support staff, including hiring, training, and performance monitoring
• Build strong relationships with families; listen to concerns and communicate updates
• Interact daily with children, ensuring a warm and engaging environment

Back Office Duties:

• Oversee facility safety and compliance with Title 22 regulations
• Ensure all required documentation and files are current for every child
• Support enrollment efforts: lead tours, respond to inquiries, and help with marketing initiatives
• Assist the Director with administrative tasks such as tuition records, payroll, and supply management

Qualifications:

Education:

• Minimum 15 ECE units, including required Title 22, infant/toddler care, and administration units
• An AA or BA in Early Childhood Education is preferred but not required
• Montessori Certification is preferred but not required

Experience:

• At least 2 years of experience working in a licensed childcare facility, specifically with preschool-aged children
• Experience in a Montessori environment is a plus

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
