Montessori Preschool Substitute Teacher

We are looking for loving, dependable, and energetic Substitute Teachers to join our Montessori school. The ideal candidates will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to supporting their development. Qualifications include, but are not limited to, Early Childhood Education (ECE) units (preferred but not required), Livescan clearance, and a health screening (including a TB test).

Compensation is based on qualifications and the positions available for coverage.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide coverage for staff absences, supporting the daily schedule and implementing activities that address the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of children
• Work collaboratively and cooperatively with other team members to create a positive learning environment
• Bring energy and enthusiasm to the classroom each day

Qualifications and Skills:

• A loving and caring demeanor, with a passion for working with children
• Ability to follow directions and remain focused on tasks
• ECE units are helpful, but not required
• Must have Livescan clearance and a health screening (including TB test)
