Montessori School Floater/Support Teacher

School in the Hills is in its 17th year of providing authentic Montessori for hundreds of families while fostering an environment of grace and courtesy.

We are hiring Floater Assistant Guides to join a strong team of Montessorians in a flex support role throughout the school. School in the Hills offers highly competitive benefits, including 30 days of paid time off for scheduled closures, including holidays, and catered meals from our professional kitchen team.

Pay ranges from $17 - $19 per hour.

Job Requirements:

• Professional experience working with children ages 18 months to 12 years
• Montessori or other school experience is a plus!
• Available to work Monday through Friday 8:45-5:45
• A kind and genuine approach to children and their families
• Strong communication skills with a calm demeanor for leading groups of children
• A desire to learn and grow

Each team member receives training from our team with opportunities to receive sponsorship for additional training and career development.

Success in this role requires team members with a love for children to work in a support role with our Lead Guide and Administration team. The ideal candidate will naturally love working with and around children in a lively environment. This role is a great opportunity to be ‘next in line’ to transition into an Assistant Guide dedicated to a Toddler or Primary classroom.
