Montessori Teacher

Red Maple Montessori and Primary is a well-established Montessori institution dedicated to providing a nurturing, child-centered environment that fosters independence, curiosity, and lifelong learning. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Montessori Teacher to join our Early Years team.

Job Responsibilities

• Plan and implement Montessori lessons and activities for children in Early Years (ages 1-6).
• Create a safe, engaging, and supportive classroom environment.
• Observe and assess each child’s progress, maintaining detailed records.
• Encourage independence, respect, and responsibility among children.
• Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and development.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to ensure quality education.
• Maintain classroom materials and prepare Montessori learning resources.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching Early Years/Montessori.
• Montessori certification/diploma.
• Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy and practices.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Passion for working with young children in a nurturing environment.
