Montessori Teacher - for toddlers

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare and maintain a Montessori-prepared environment suitable for toddlers (1.5–3 years). This includes preparation of innovative hands on activities for the children.

· Present hands-on Montessori activities in Practical Life, Sensorial, and Motor Development

· Guide toddlers towards independence, self-confidence, and emotional security

· Observe each child carefully and plan activities based on individual developmental needs

· Maintain cleanliness, order, and safety in the toddler classroom

· Experience in setting up or running a toddler Montessori environment

· Ability to create or adapt Montessori materials (DIY activities)

· Calm, nurturing, and emotionally responsive teaching style

· Strong understanding of toddler behaviour and developmental milestones

· Handle toddlers with patience, warmth, and sensitivity

· Support toilet learning, feeding routines, and nap time respectfully

· Communicate effectively with parents regarding child progress and behaviour

· Maintain daily records, observations, and progress notes

· Work collaboratively with management and other educators

· Manage classroom materials and ensure Montessori principles are followed.

· Maintain strong communication with parents, addressing questions and concerns professionally.

· Ensure health, safety, and hygiene standards are consistently followed.

· Required Qualifications & Experience

· Certified Montessori Training (Diploma / Certificate)

· Experience conducting or facilitating parent–child (mom & toddler) programs is highly preferred.

· Ability to independently head a session with confidence and clarity.

· Minimum 2–5 years of experience handling toddlers in a Montessori environment

· Strong practical knowledge of Montessori materials and hands-on activities

· Experience in Practical Life and Sensorial presentations for toddlers

· Excellent classroom management and observation skills

· Good communication skills in English (Tamil preferred)

· Passion for early childhood education and child-led learning

· Manage classroom materials and ensure Montessori principles are followed.

· Maintain strong communication with parents, addressing questions and concerns professionally.

· Ensure health, safety, and hygiene standards are consistently followed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.40 per month
