Morgantown - Independent Contractor - Medical Courier

Job Summary:
Lab Logistics is an established international transportation company focused in the medical field. We're seeking a dedicated independent contractor driver for work in Morgnatown. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting medical items in a timely manner while ensuring the highest level of customer service. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to navigate efficiently through routes.

Open Work :

• Monday - Saturday; 3:30PM - 5:30PM

Responsibilities:

• Safely drive and operate vehicle to transport goods between locations.
• Ensure safe handling of items.
• Follow designated routes and schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status or any issues that may arise.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.

Requirements / Experience:

• TSA Certified
• At least 21 years of age or older
• Previous courier experience is preferred, but not required.
• Use of own car
• Familiarity with driving regulations and safety practices is essential.
• Ability to obtain EIN (if you do not already have one)
• Ability to navigate using GPS systems or maps effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently while on the road.
• Maintain professional appearance and workspace.
• Must be able to pass background check.
