We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Morning Pre-K Teacher that loves nature to inspire and nurture our youngest learners in a vibrant preschool environment. Duties

  • Develop and implement dynamic curriculum plans aligned with early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and play-based, nature focused methods.
  • Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among preschool students.
  • Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, circle time, hands-on learning experiences, and structured play to support childhood development milestones.
  • Utilize effective behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior and address individual student needs with patience and consistency.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to monitor student progress through observations, assessments, and standardized testing where appropriate.
  • Maintain clear communication with families regarding classroom activities, student progress, and to celebrate small moments.

Experience

  • Prior classroom experience in preschool or early childhood education settings is essential; familiarity with preschool or private school environments is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management best practices tailored for preschool-aged children.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with young learners, families, and team members.
  • Proven ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate play-based methods or other child-centered educational philosophies.
  • Familiarity with standardized testing procedures and tutoring techniques to support individual student growth. Pay: $18,000.00 - $19,000.00 per year
