As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Mortgage Closer/Funder to join our dynamic team and support our processing staff with closing out loans.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Mortgage Closer/Funder, This role is critical to ensuring loans move smoothly from clear to close through funding while also supporting the processing team with final documentation and closing coordination. The ideal candidate is experienced in mortgage funding, understands warehouse bank requirements, and is comfortable assisting with final conditions, document review, and communication with escrow, title, and internal teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least 2+ year of experience in correspondent mortgage funding looking to expand their knowledge and grow within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review loan files for clear to close approval and funding readiness
• Prepare and submit funding requests to warehouse banks
• Verify closing disclosures, final loan documents, and compliance requirements
• Balance closing statements and wire amounts
• Order and confirm funding wires
• Communicate with escrow, title, and warehouse banks
• Confirm signed loan documents and funding conditions
• Track funding timelines and deadlines
• Ensure loans fund accurately and on time
• Maintain funding logs and internal tracking systems

Qualifications:

• MUST HAVE BROKERED/CORRESPONDENT Experience
• 2+ years mortgage funding experience preferred
• Experience with warehouse lending and wire requests
• Understanding of mortgage closing documents
• Familiarity with loan processing workflows
• Strong attention to detail and organization
• Ability to manage multiple loans and deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with mortgage LOS systems preferred
• Strong problem-solving ability
• High level of accuracy and compliance awareness
• Ability to work in a fast-paced mortgage environment
• Team-oriented with willingness to support processing team
• Excellent time management and prioritization
• This is an in-person position; candidates must be able to work on-site
• Knowledge of Encompass, Calyx, Arive, or similar LOS platforms
