About the Opportunity

Central Jersey Real Estate Institute (CJREI), a leading provider of real estate and mortgage education, is seeking an experienced Mortgage Licensing Instructor to teach NMLS pre-licensing courses in a live online environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for mortgage professionals who enjoy teaching, mentoring, and helping future loan officers enter the industry. All course materials, including PowerPoint presentations, instructor guides, and student textbooks, are provided. Your primary responsibility will be delivering engaging and informative instruction via Zoom.

Position Details

• Fully remote position
• Teach live classes via Zoom
• Each course consists of 24 instructional hours
• Courses are offered approximately twice per month
• Compensation of $600 per course
• Flexible scheduling available

Current course schedule:

• Monday through Thursday: 6:00 PM – 9:30 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Sunday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

We understand that instructors have professional and personal commitments. If you prefer to teach only weekdays, weekends, or a customized schedule, we are happy to work with you to create a schedule that fits your availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in any aspect of mortgage lending
• Strong knowledge of residential mortgage lending practices
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Comfortable teaching in a virtual environment using Zoom
• Passion for education and helping others succeed
• Previous training, teaching, coaching, or public speaking experience is a plus but not required
