LFG Lending is a fast-growing, investor-focused mortgage brokerage specializing in DSCR, bridge, fix-and-flip, construction, rental portfolio, and other non-QM financing solutions. We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and confidently manage complex investor loan files from application through closing.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who already understands mortgage operations, enjoys solving problems, and can independently move files through the process while providing exceptional communication to borrowers, loan officers, lenders, and third-party vendors.
Responsibilities
- Process investor-focused loan files from application through funding
- Review loan submissions for completeness and identify missing documentation
- Analyze borrower documentation, entity structures, operating agreements, leases, rent rolls, insurance policies, and asset documentation
- Collect, review, and organize documentation required by lenders and underwriters
- Submit files to lenders and manage conditions through final approval
- Coordinate with borrowers, loan officers, title companies, insurance agents, appraisers, and lenders throughout the transaction
- Maintain accurate loan milestones and notes within CRM and LOS systems
- Proactively identify issues that may impact closing timelines and work toward solutions
- Monitor pipeline deadlines and ensure files continue moving efficiently
- Review title commitments, insurance requirements, appraisal reports, and closing packages for accuracy
- Provide consistent status updates to all parties involved in the transaction
- Assist with process improvement initiatives as LFG continues to scale nationally
Required Experience & SkillsMortgage Experience
- Minimum 2 years of mortgage processing experience
- Experience processing conventional, government, non-QM, DSCR, or investor loans
- Strong understanding of mortgage documentation and underwriting requirements
- Familiarity with title, appraisal, insurance, and closing processes
Technical Skills
- Ability to read and understand credit reports
- Ability to calculate and review income, assets, liabilities, and reserves
- Understanding of LLCs, corporations, trusts, and investor ownership structures
- Experience reviewing leases, rent rolls, operating agreements, and entity documents
- Strong computer proficiency and ability to quickly learn new systems
- Experience with mortgage CRM and loan origination systems preferred

- Experience reviewing short-term rental or portfolio loan transactions
