Mortgage Sales Manager

Job Overview:

Convoy Home Loans is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and support a team of high-producing Loan Officers. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a strong mortgage professional who can coach originators, help structure deals, and work closely with Operations to keep loans moving efficiently.

The Sales Manager will serve as the primary resource for Loan Officers helping solve problems, improve production, and ensure the team has the support needed to succeed.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary support resource and escalation point for an our team of Loan Officers.
• Provide daily guidance, coaching, and deal support to help originators increase production.
• Assist with complex loan scenarios, structuring strategies, and guideline questions.
• Help resolve borrower, agent, and internal issues to keep loans moving smoothly.
• Maintain consistent communication and availability so loan officers feel supported and confident in their pipeline.
• Work closely with Operations and Processing to ensure efficient file flow and on-time closings.
• Identify opportunities for loan officers to improve lead conversion and referral partner relationships.

Required Qualifications:

• Active NMLS License
• 5+ years of mortgage origination experience with a strong understanding of the lending process
• Proven track record as a successful producing Loan Officer
• Deep knowledge of Conventional, FHA, VA, and Non-QM loan products
• Prior experience mentoring, coaching, or supporting Loan Officers preferred
• Strong ability to structure deals, resolve escalations, and guide complex scenarios
• Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills

Pay: $70,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
