Mother's Day Out - Infant Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced, reliable, hardworking, dedicated, and passionate Mother's Day Out Teacher to join our staff for the 2026-2027 school year! The ideal candidate for this position is someone who loves working with children and has a kind, gentle, and caring personality. Experience in childcare or education is required. This position is for our infant nursery, and will begin August 10th. Required work hours are Monday-Thursday from 8:30am-2:00pm with the opportunity for extra hours if desired. Starting pay is $12/hour but can be discussed depending on experience and education.

Job Duties:

  • Learn and maintain the established routine of our infant nursery
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate activities
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Provide individualized attention and support to each child
  • Monitor student progress and provide daily updates to parents through the Procare app
  • Collaborate with a co-teacher to create and maintain a cohesive fun learning experience
  • Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
  • Maintain a positive attitude with children, co-workers, and directors

Qualifications:

  • Experience in childcare or education is required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
  • Proven experience and confidence working with infants as young as three months old
  • Familiarity with and strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
