Job #53496: Dependable And Kind-Hearted Mother's Helper Needed In Scottsdale, AZ (Tatum Blvd & Mayo Blvd)

Message from Family: Dad owns and operates his own international food distribution company. He typically works Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, though his schedule may evolve over time as the business grows. Mom is currently home full-time and recently stepped away from her career as a physician to focus on our family.

We have two small dogs, a Pomeranian and a Havanese/Poodle mix. We will be starting in-home training in the next few weeks to continue working on house-training, barking, and chewing.

Mom is still adjusting to this new season as a stay-at-home parent and figuring out what balance looks like. She would love to begin exploring hobbies and appreciates having support so she can occasionally step out for appointments or classes. We would also value light household help and simple food preparation so Mom can spend more quality time focused on the baby.

We are also hoping to grow our family and plan to pursue IVF in the near future as we work toward welcoming another little one.

About the Children: Our only daughter is 8 months old. She is sleeping well through the night and has a very sweet, easygoing demeanor. She is curious, observant, and eager to learn. We are loving this stage and are excited to support her development as she continues to grow and explore the world around her.

Their Ideal Mother's Helper: We are looking for someone dependable, kind, and genuinely caring…someone who will feel like a natural extension of our family. We would love a candidate who takes initiative confidently, stepping in without needing constant direction, while still maintaining open communication and a clear understanding of our needs and expectations.

It's important to us that this person is patient and supportive, especially with Mom as she navigates this new season. We value someone who can help maintain our daughter's daily sleep schedule, engage her in age-appropriate learning activities, and support her continued development in a thoughtful, nurturing way.

We are also hoping to find someone comfortable balancing childcare with light household support, helping with small tasks around the home, simple food prep, tidying, and keeping things running smoothly day-to-day.

A love for dogs is a must!

Most importantly, we are looking for someone with a proactive, flexible mindset and a genuine “I've got you” attitude…someone who will make the transition into our home feel seamless, supportive, and natural.

Duties:
Grocery shopping
Family laundry
Light housekeeping
Cooking/meal prep for family
Errands

Schedule: Monday–Friday (the Mother's Helper may help determine the schedule)
* Flexible on times and days, with a preference for mornings/afternoons
* Occasional evenings for date nights and events
* The position guarantees at least 20 hours per week

Fridays will be a consistent time, from 12:00 PM–4:00 PM, to allow Mom to attend a weekly class.

Compensation: $28-$35 per hour, DOE
