Mother’s Helper Needed for Family in West Chester, PA

Families Location: West Chester, PA

Number of children and Age: 1 child, 2.5-year-old daughter.

Type of Position: Full time, Live out. Must be flexible.

Schedule: Monday-Friday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Compensation & benefits: $35-$40 DOE. PTO (2-weeks paid vacation, 6 federal holidays and 5 sick days.).

Start Date: 04/06/2026.

Travel Required: No.

Additional info: The family has a small dog, so comfort with dogs is required. Maintaining a health-conscious environment is important, as Mom will be immunocompromised. The family would value someone who is mindful of illness prevention and respectful of health and safety practices in the home.

In addition to childcare, the family would appreciate help with supportive household tasks that keep the home running smoothly. Responsibilities may include managing the child’s schedule, planning activities, running occasional errands, family laundry, simple meal and snack preparation, and light tidying around the home. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and happy to step in where needed.

The family is currently going through a period where extra household support is especially appreciated, so they are seeking someone who is compassionate, trustworthy, communicative, and dependable. Position Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Providing attentive care for the family’s 2.5-year-old daughter, including engaging in age-appropriate play, activities, and outings
• Maintaining the child’s daily routine, including meals, naps, and developmental activities
• Planning fun and enriching activities that encourage learning and creativity
• Preparing simple meals and snacks for the child (and occasionally assisting with family meal prep)
• Family laundry and keeping the child’s spaces tidy and organized
• Light household support such as tidying common areas, unloading/loading the dishwasher, and general organization
• Running occasional errands (groceries, pickups, etc.)
• Helping keep the household running smoothly while offering extra support to the family during this time (e.g., like helping with their dog)
• Maintaining a health-conscious environment and being mindful of illness prevention
• Driving Daughter to activities

Qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional nanny experience.
• Experience in caring for toddlers and Pre-K children.
• Must have a driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Up-to-date vaccinations (Flu, COVID-19, and Booster).
• CPR and First-Aid certifications
• Must be a strong swimmer

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
