Job Title: Mother's Helpful – After School & Evening Support
Location: Glen Carbon, IL
Schedule: Monday–Friday, up to 8 hours/day; at least 3p to 8p.

About the Role

We’re seeking a MATURE, kind and dependable Mother's Helper to keep our afternoons and evenings running smoothly. This role includes helping Mom during afternoons, after-school care, drop off to extracurricular activities, driving Mom to appointments, supper preparation, and general assistance with whatever Mom needs to keep the evening running smoothly. Must be able to provide support to widowed Mom.

Children

• Two school-aged children (10 and 12)
• One independent teen (16)

What You’ll Do

• Pick up kids from school and supervise after-school routines
• Drive to and from extracurricular activities
• Prepare and serve simple, healthy dinners
• Help with homework and light tidying
• Support Mom with errands or household tasks and scheduling needs
• Foster a calm, positive environment

What We’re Looking For

• Experience running a household
• Experience working with children
• Reliable, punctual, and organized
• Calm, kind, and flexible
• Comfortable with light household duties
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
