Motion Graphic Designer

Job Summary

The Motion Graphics Designer will create animated visual content for digital platforms, TV, and film by transforming designs into dynamic, engaging media using their own creativity, and the tools provided in the Adobe Creative Cloud. Working on a team, under direction of the Creative Director, the Motion Graphics Designer will satisfy design needs for all of Tomoka Christian Church’s campuses. This is a full-time, in-person role that primarily works Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM. Some weekend or evening hours may be required.

Responsibilities:

• Works with other creative team members to produce content
• Creates animated visual content for digital platforms across all campuses
• Creates guidelines for how logos and other branding materials should be displayed
• Makes design choices, such as fonts and colors, for content used
• Clearly communicate the reasoning behind design choices
• Understands and satisfies prompts obtained from communication requests, while maintaining control of the quality of the end product
• Meets deadlines for projects, even those with minimal turnaround time.
• Accepts criticism, even if it means restarting a project.
• Adhere to the Branding Guide for all TCC-related projects.
• Travel to other campuses to better understand the scope of a project.
• Develops high-quality motion graphics while consistently researching, growing, and adapting to the latest industry trends and innovations.

Skills/Qualifications:

• A heart and passion to connect people to a life-changing relationship with Jesus through visual communication.
• Knowledge about design elements, such as color, composition and fonts
• Is proficient with apps in the Adobe Creative Cloud such as
• Photoshop
• Illustrator
• Premiere Pro
• Has an eye for design and aesthetics on all types of media from printed materials to web graphics and video elements.
• Communication skills.
• Understand and enthusiastically support Tomoka’s mission, vision, and values.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
