Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues on motorcycles.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire replacements, brake repairs, suspension adjustments, and engine tune-ups.
- Repair or replace faulty components including brakes, suspension parts, wiring, and powertrain elements with precision and care.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently.
- Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and document all repair activities thoroughly.
- Assist customers by explaining repair procedures, recommending maintenance services, and providing exceptional customer service.
- Support the dealership’s sales team by preparing motorcycles for sale through detailed inspections and quality assurance checks.
Requirements
- Proven dealership experience or service technician experience working with motorcycles or similar vehicles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repair techniques.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering devices, and suspension systems.
- Ability to lift heavy motorcycle parts safely during repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Experience in brake repair, vehicle assembly, automotive repair procedures, and vehicle maintenance routines.
- Knowledge of automotive electronics and troubleshooting electrical systems is a plus.
- Valid mechanic certification or relevant technical training preferred; willingness to learn new skills is essential. Pay: $23.50 - $40.00 per hour
