Position Overview

The Motorcycle Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer motorcycles to factory standards. This position plays a critical role in delivering exceptional service experiences and ensuring rider safety and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, tires, brakes, batteries, scheduled services)
• Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, fuel, suspension, and drivetrain systems
• Perform warranty and recall repairs according to manufacturer guidelines
• Complete pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new units
• Install performance parts and accessories
• Accurately document repairs and labor times in service management system
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Stay current with factory training and certifications

Qualifications

• Previous motorcycle or powersports technician experience preferred
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license (motorcycle endorsement preferred)
• Manufacturer certifications (a plus but not required)
• Own tools required
