Job Title: Mover/Driver
Organization: Home of the Sparrow, Inc.
Location: On-site, multiple store locations

Status: Part-Time, 20 hours/week (two 10-hour shifts: Tuesday & Saturday or Wednesday & Friday)

Overview:
The Mover/Driver is responsible for picking up and unloading donations in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring items are handled properly and transported to the appropriate locations. This role is physically demanding and essential to supporting our thrift stores and programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick up and deliver donations using a 16 ft. box van
• Safely load and unload items, including lifting 100+ lbs.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic vehicle inspections
• Represent Home of the Sparrow professionally during pickups
• Follow all safety and operational procedures

Qualifications:

• Standard driver’s license required
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Ability to lift 100+ lbs. safely
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
