Mover/Packer

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Mover/Packer to join our team. This role involves assisting with the loading, unloading, packing, and moving of goods for residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, delivery driving, or related fields, and possess a strong work ethic with attention to safety and customer service. Responsibilities

• Load and unload items safely using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts
• Pack items securely for transport, ensuring protection during transit
• Assist with moving furniture and other large items, utilizing proper lifting techniques to prevent injury
• Operate box trucks or commercial vehicles with manual or automatic transmissions for route driving and deliveries
• Deliver goods to various locations, adhering to scheduled routes and timeframes
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of moving equipment and work areas
• Provide excellent customer service by handling clients’ belongings with care and professionalism
• Follow safety protocols during all phases of loading, unloading, and transportation

Skills

• Experience in customer service or warehouse operations preferred
• Knowledge of commercial driving, including route driving and delivery experience
• Ability to operate box trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other moving equipment safely
• Heavy lifting capability to handle bulky or heavy items efficiently
• Strong moving skills with attention to safety procedures
• Familiarity with courier services or load & unload procedures is a plus
• Valid driver’s license with relevant endorsements such as <PERSON> driver or courier certification preferred
• Excellent driving skills with experience in route planning and navigation
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
