Moving Specialist/ Driver

Job Description:

This role is ideal for someone with real moving industry experience who is comfortable driving box trucks, handling furniture professionally, and leading by example on job sites.

Pay

$20 – $24 per hour (based on experience)
Biweekly pay

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Minimum 2 years of professional moving experience
• At least 1 year of box truck driving experience
• Must be 21 years or older
• Ability to lift and maneuver 75+ lbs regularly
• Ability to move furniture safely through stairs, doorways, and tight spaces
• Must be reliable, punctual, and professional with customers
• Comfortable using a smartphone for job information and paperwork
• Ability to pass a background check and MVR review

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company box trucks to and from job sites
• Load and unload furniture, boxes, and equipment efficiently
• Wrap and protect furniture using pads, shrink wrap, and proper moving techniques
• Disassemble and reassemble furniture when necessary
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers throughout the move
• Maintain accurate job paperwork and send invoices at the end of jobs
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections
• Maintain a clean and organized truck and equipment
• Work with the team to ensure moves are completed safely and efficiently
• Set the pace for professionalism and work ethic on job sites
