Mower/Landscaper

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mower/Landscaper to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful and healthy landscapes by performing lawn care, landscape maintenance, and various gardening tasks. Your expertise will help create inviting outdoor spaces that enhance the environment and meet client expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilize a variety of tools and equipment, and contribute to the aesthetic appeal of residential or commercial properties.

Duties

• Operate lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools to maintain lawns and landscaped areas efficiently
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, edging, and mulching to ensure healthy growth and visual appeal
• Use hand tools and machinery like shovels, rakes, and hedge trimmers for detailed gardening and landscaping work
• Assist with irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns
• Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal using appropriate equipment such as chainsaws or excavators when necessary
• Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients
• Maintain equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met

Requirements

• Proven experience with lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate
• Mechanical knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and landscaping equipment is highly desirable
• Ability to operate machinery such as excavators or other construction-related equipment is a plus
• Strong understanding of horticulture principles and landscape design concepts
• Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and pruning techniques
• Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions with stamina and attention to safety
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for collaborating effectively with colleagues

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
