Mower/Landscaper

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mower/Landscaper to join our dynamic outdoor maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful, healthy landscapes by performing mowing, trimming, planting, and general landscape upkeep. Duties

• Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools to maintain lawns and landscaped areas
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including edging, pruning, planting, and mulching to enhance aesthetic appeal
• Use power tools and machinery like excavators for larger landscaping projects or site preparation
• Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and assessing health to promote safety and growth
• Carry out snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and accessible
• Maintain equipment through routine inspections and basic mechanical knowledge to ensure optimal performance

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge of lawn care and landscaping equipment
• Experience with landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Knowledge of tree care techniques including trimming, pruning, and health assessment
• Ability to operate excavators and other construction machinery when needed for site work
• Familiarity with hardscape features such as patios or walkways construction
• Excellent understanding of lawn care routines including mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and pest control
• Ability to perform snow plowing safely during winter seasons
• Good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
