Position Summary

As a Mowing Crew Lead, you will oversee a small team (2-4 crew members) and ensure that daily

lawn maintenance routes are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. An ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong communication skills and experience in lawn care or landscaping.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a lawn care crew on daily routes
• Perform lawn maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, and seasonal
• services
• Operate and maintain commercial lawn equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.)
• Train new crew members and ensure safety protocols are followed
• Communicate with customers professionally and address concerns on-site
• Track job completion times, materials used, and equipment condition
• Ensure properties are serviced accurately and efficiently
• Maintain clean and organized work trucks, trailers, and tools

Qualifications & Skills

• 1-2+ years of experience in lawn care, landscaping, or groundskeeping
• Previous experience in a leadership or crew lead role preferred
• Ability to operate commercial lawn care equipment safely
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods Comfortable working in heat, cold, or outdoor environments
