Mowing Crew - Team Lead

Mowing Crew Supervisor should be punctual, polite, and maintain a positive attitude. Attention to detail and striving for 100% customer satisfaction is a MUST! Ability to be work in a team environment and be efficient. If you are punctual, polite, and have a positive attitude, we can teach you everything you will need to know.

Daily tasks include:

Showing up on time before your crew arrives, safety hooking up trailer, performing our safety checks, mow and edge multiple yards a day while maintaining straight, clean lines without blowing clippings into mulch beds or leaving tire marks on roads/sidewalks. Using a weed whacker to trim around obstacles and in places where mowers cannot safely operate. Using a leaf blower to blow off all hard surfaces. It is the little details that matter.

Also, must be able to drive larger trucks with a trailer. You will be responsible for performing maintenance, keeping records, recording grass cut times/dates, billing for these cuts, making sure all fuel tanks are filled with proper fuels, handling customer disputes. You will also be responsible for creating schedules for your crew members as well as daily communication with the owner on each days progress and issues. All of this will be included in our training in your first few weeks.

No prior experience is needed, (however, it is preferred for this position) just an open mind and willingness to learn.

Requirements: Ability to lift upwards of 50 pounds, be on your feet for 8 hours a day. Ability to effectively and politely communicate with your crew members and upper management as well as customers.

General knowledge of running different machines such as zero turns, push mowers, weed whackers, mixing fuels for machines, safely hooking up a trailer to the truck, checking fluids in the truck as well as performing safety inspections, etc. (not required, but preferred)

Previous knowledge or skills will be considered for starting pay rate.

Hourly Rate: $18.00 to $24.00 /hour (Starting pay dependent on previous experience)
