About the role
The MS Project Planner will own and maintain detailed project schedules for complex defence and technology programmes. The role supports the Project Manager and PMO by turning project scope into a realistic, trackable plan and keeping all stakeholders aligned. Candidates with a defence or military projects background are especially welcome.
Key responsibilities

Develop, maintain and update project schedules in Microsoft Project (and related tools).

Break down work into tasks, durations and dependencies with project managers and engineers.

Track progress against key milestones and critical path; highlight delays and risks early.

Coordinate with engineering, operations and commercial teams to keep timelines realistic and current.

Prepare and present schedule reports, dashboards and “what‑if” scenarios for management.

Support change control, resource planning and risk/issue management from a schedule perspective.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management or related field.

4–7 years’ experience in
project planning / scheduling
, ideally in defence, aerospace, or construction Industry

Strong hands‑on experience with
MS Project
(building, baselining and updating complex schedules).

Good understanding of project management concepts (WBS, critical path, dependencies, baselines, earned value is a plus).

Strong analytical and reporting skills; comfortable working with data and timelines.

Excellent communication skills in English; able to work with multidisciplinary and international teams.
Nice to have

Experience working on defence, military, or government technology programmes.

Exposure to PMO environments and standard project management frameworks (PMI/PMBOK or PRINCE2).
