Job Summary:
The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting the Finance and Operations (F&O) modules of Microsoft Dynamics 365. The role involves understanding client business processes, translating them into system requirements, and ensuring effective solutions aligned with best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Cash & Bank Management, etc.).
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional design documents.
- Configure and customize the D365 Finance module to meet business needs.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis, solution design, and documentation of business processes.
- Support data migration, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Provide post-implementation support, issue resolution, and user training.
- Work closely with technical consultants and developers for customizations, reports, and workflows.
- Maintain detailed project documentation and ensure alignment with project timelines.
- Stay updated with new features and best practices in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience implementing or supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (or AX 2012).
- Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and business processes.
- Experience in Finance module areas such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Budgeting, and Fixed Assets.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Excel integration, and reporting tools is a plus.
- Ability to document functional designs and provide end-user training.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate (preferred).
