MSP Customer Service Rep/Tech Support

IEQ Technology is seeking a Customer Service Technician to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, solving technical problems, and working in a fast paced IT environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service and technical support to clients by phone, email, remote access, and onsite when required.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows workstations, Microsoft 365, networking, printers, and business applications.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
  • Document, track, and update support requests through our ticketing system.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when appropriate.
  • Assist with workstation deployments, upgrades, and technology projects.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client environments and support activities.
  • Follow established procedures while identifying opportunities to improve service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, WiFi, VPNs, and LAN/WAN connectivity.
  • Experience troubleshooting desktop hardware and software issues.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an IT help desk, MSP, or technical support role.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar certifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
