Job Description
This is a remote position.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced MSP RFP Specialist to prepare high quality proposal responses for Managed IT Services across US and Canadian public sector and commercial opportunities. The ideal candidate must have prior MSP RFP experience and be capable of handling full proposal cycles independently with minimal guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify RFPs across US and Canadian government portals and enterprise procurement platforms
- Prepare complete RFP responses including technical sections, compliance matrices, pricing inputs, and submission documents
- Ensure strict adherence to formatting, compliance, and submission requirements for federal, state, provincial, and commercial bids
- Manage submission portals such as SAM.gov, Merx, Buyandsell, Ariba, and state procurement systems
- Coordinate with internal teams (MSP operations, cybersecurity, finance, leadership) only when specific inputs are required
- Maintain complete document accuracy, version control, checklists, calendars, and deadline management
- Deliver polished, compliant, and audit ready proposal packages on time
Requirements
- 4 to 5+ years of experience preparing MSP focused RFPs for US and/or Canadian public sector agencies
- Must have worked at an MSP or IT managed services company
- Strong experience writing technical and compliance content for MSP services (NOC, Helpdesk, Cybersecurity, Cloud, Device Management)
- Hands on experience with procurement portals: SAM.gov, Merx, Buyandsell, Ariba, VendorLink, state portals
- Ability to manage entire proposal lifecycle without supervision
- Strong document formatting, organization, and compliance tracking
- Excellent written English and ability to communicate complex MSP services clearly
