Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic MSP Technician to join our innovative managed services team! Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance across various operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Manage and monitor computer hardware, software applications, and network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and Meraki equipment.
- Administer and support IT infrastructure components including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP configurations, and Microsoft Windows Server environments.
- Conduct software troubleshooting for applications like Microsoft Office suite, SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager), GPO (Group Policy Objects), ServiceNow, Jira, and BMC Remedy.
- Assist with network administration tasks such as LAN management, TCP/UDP analysis, DNS resolution, and firewall configuration to ensure secure connectivity.
- Support mobile devices and endpoint management to optimize user productivity across various platforms.
- Collaborate with clients to resolve help desk tickets efficiently while maintaining excellent communication skills and customer service standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in technical support roles with a strong understanding of computer networking concepts including TCP/IP and LAN management.
- Hands-on knowledge of operating systems such as Windows (including Windows Server), macOS, and Linux.
- Familiarity with network security tools like firewalls, VPNs, Meraki devices, and Active Directory administration.
- Experience with remote management tools including Kaseya and connectwise Remedy for ticketing and system deployment.
- Strong analysis skills to diagnose hardware/software issues quickly and accurately.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and team members in a professional manner.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Pay: $55,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
