MTO Finance ( Tax compliance Trainee)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented MTO ( Finance ) with at least 6 months of relevant experience in taxation. The ideal candidate will assist in managing tax compliance, statutory filings, and responding to tax notices while ensuring adherence to applicable tax laws.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparation of Advance Tax Workings (U/S 147) and ensure timely payment.
• Prepare and file Sales Tax Returns accurately and within deadlines.
• Prepare and deposit Withholding Tax (WHT) Challans.
• Assist in filing Quarterly & Annual Statements (U/S 149 & 165).
• Support in handling tax notices and maintaining compliance documentation.
• Perform tax reconciliations and maintain proper records.
• Stay updated with changes in tax regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field (ACCA/CA Inter preferred).
• Minimum 6 months of relevant experience in taxation.
• Basic knowledge of income tax and sales tax laws.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Good analytical and communication skills.
