As a member of our MTR Team, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining our culture of customer service excellence. This is not your average warehouse position—while it includes picking and packing, it requires great attention to detail and a strong understanding of order accuracy and documentation. Our MTR Associate is required to have experience with pipe picking, material picking, checking, and MTR processing, and must have familiarity with Material Test Reports (MTRs).

What You’ll Bring:

• Strong Experience in at least two areas: MTRs, pipe picking, material picking, or checking.
• High school diploma or GED.

What We’re Looking For:

• Familiarity with ASA product knowledge and warehouse processes.
• Strong understanding of picking, checking, packing, and MTR protocols.
• Experience safely operating forklifts (sit-down/stand-up) and overhead cranes.
• Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office, Xerox systems, web browsing).
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with both office and operations staff.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong math skills and time management abilities.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in distribution order fulfillment.

What You’ll Do:

• Safely gather material fittings using a forklift, order picker, and cart.
• Pick pipe using an overhead crane.
• Double-check order material and quantities to ensure accuracy.
• Pack or label materials per customer specifications.
• Process Material Test Reports (MTRs) as needed for pipe/fittings.
• Follow all safety rules, policies, and continuous improvement guidelines.
• Support the team with other assigned duties as needed.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to hear, speak, and see clearly in a warehouse environment.
• Must be able to stand and walk long distances throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in varied temperatures, around noise and fumes.
