What You Can Expect

• Teach both Mathematics and Computer Science courses.
• Make spiritual growth for self and students a priority and regular part of each day.
• Focus on student learning to help prepare students for post high school education, Christian vocation and lifelong learning and service as disciples of Jesus Christ.
• Participate collaboratively in faculty, department and professional learning community meetings and activities.

Creative Opportunities (The Fun Stuff)

• Freedom to educate students in new and creative ways.
• Help to lead a small group devotional each week for students called Koinonia.
• Seeking candidates with knowledge and experience in teaching both Social Studies and Theology courses.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Secondary Education, or related subject area(s).
• Teaching License and Certification are required to teach the Mathematics and Computer Science classes.
• Seeking candidates that possess classroom teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Focus on student learning to help prepare students for post high school education, Christian vocation and lifelong learning and service as disciples of Jesus Christ.
• Stay current in both educational content and methodology through a coordinated program of professional development utilizing the professional learning community model.
• Make spiritual growth for self and students a priority and regular part of each day.
• Participate collaboratively in faculty, department and professional learning community meetings and activities.
• Communicate with students and parents on a regular basis.
• Teach Mathematics and Computer Science courses as agreed upon with school administration and Department Leaders.
