MULTI‑SITE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Position Overview
The Multi‑Site Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that all assigned properties operate safely, efficiently, and at the quality standards expected by Core Redevelopment. This role delivers measurable results by reducing emergency repairs, completing work orders accurately, improving unit turn timelines, and maintaining consistent property conditions across multiple communities. The technician supports operational success by independently managing priorities, documenting work in AppFolio, and providing exceptional service that enhances resident satisfaction and protects asset value.
Reporting Structure
The Multi‑Site Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Property Manager at the property they are assigned to each day and receives additional operational direction from the Regional Manager.
For any questions or decisions involving mechanical systems, major maintenance concerns, or roofing issues, the technician must escalate directly to the Director of Maintenance.
Key Responsibilities & Expected Outcomes
1. Deliver High‑Quality Resident Service
- Resolve resident service requests accurately and on the first visit whenever possible.
- Communicate timelines clearly and professionally.
2. Complete Work Orders Efficiently
- Prioritize and complete work orders based on urgency.
- Maintain real‑time accuracy of documentation in AppFolio.
3. Ensure All Units Are Turned On Time & Move‑In Ready
- Complete unit turns within established timelines.
- Perform quality checks before releasing units.
4. Protect Asset Value Through Preventative Maintenance
- Complete scheduled inspections and PM tasks.
- Identify issues early to prevent costly failures.
5. Support Multi‑Site Operations
- Work independently across multiple properties.
- Adapt to changing priorities and emergencies.
6. Uphold Safety & Compliance Standards
- Follow OSHA, EPA, company policies, and fair housing.
- Maintain clean, safe, organized work environments.
7. Participate in On‑Call Rotation
- Respond to emergencies within company standards and document work promptly.
8. Support Team Communication & Collaboration
- Provide updates and attend required meetings.
- Work cooperatively with onsite teams.
Qualifications & Performance Expectations
- Technical skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, appliances.
- HVAC certification preferred.
- 2–3 years maintenance experience.
- AppFolio proficiency.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varied environments.
