Multi-Site Maintenance Technician for Apartment Communities (Repairs, Maintenance & Installations)

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team and contribute to maintaining and improving our property portfolio.

Position Overview:
The Maintenance Technician will perform essential maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of our residential and commercial properties. This hands-on role involves working closely with property managers and teams to address day-to-day maintenance needs and deliver high-quality service to residents and tenants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues efficiently to ensure tenant satisfaction.
  • Conduct inspections to identify maintenance needs and recommend cost-effective solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and repair building systems and equipment, ensuring they operate at optimal performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory usage.
  • Collaborate with property management staff to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and condition of common areas, grounds, and facilities.
  • Assist with vendor coordination for specialized repairs or projects as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in property management, facilities, or construction.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently and independently.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols, building codes, and industry standards.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with residents and team members.
  • Basic computer skills for managing work orders and maintenance logs.
  • Certification or training in specific trades (e.g., HVAC, electrical) is a plus.
