About The Role

Bespak is looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer (Mechanical biased) for the Holmes Chapel site, CW4 8BE. This is a permanent, onsite role. The salary for this role is £49,500. Other benefits you will receive are 25 days leave plus bank holidays, discretionary annual bonus, generous 10% pension contribution, onsite free parking, and medical / dental / health / life assurance.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Multi Skilled Engineer to join our facilities team. This role is critical in ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of mechanical systems across our site.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and improve mechanical equipment and pressurised systems, including steam, water, purified water, compressed air, trade effluent, and HVAC systems
• Support a wide range of equipment such as pumps, rotating machinery, compressors, chillers, and fans
• Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond effectively to reactive maintenance tasks
• Supervise contractors on-site, ensuring compliance with risk assessments, method statements (RAMs), and site procedures
• Ensure all activities are carried out in line with health, safety, and regulatory standards

Compliance & Systems

• Work within pharmaceutical industry requirements, including change control and validation processes
• Follow Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) procedures at all times
• Maintain accurate documentation to support compliance and audits

Additional Requirements

• Participate in the site call-out rota
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering and facilities team

About You

• Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within a regulated or industrial environment
• Strong understanding of HVAC and pressurised systems
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical or highly regulated environments is desirable
