Job Description – Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician Position Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician Department:* Technical / Maintenance Location:* As Assigned Reporting To: Maintenance Supervisor / Facility Manager Employment Type: Full time.

The Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance tasks across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and general facility repair disciplines. The role ensures that all assigned sites and equipment operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities1. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

• Conduct regular preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and other building equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and civil/structural issues.
• Perform troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime.

2. General Facility Repairs

• Execute carpentry, painting, tiling, minor masonry, and general handyman works.
• Repair doors, locks, cabinets, flooring, and other interior fixtures.
• Carry out basic welding and fabrication tasks when required.

3. Electrical & Plumbing Works

• Inspect, maintain, and repair wiring, switches, lighting systems, sockets, and small power distribution components.
• Address plumbing issues such as leaks, blockages, drainage problems, pumps, water heaters, and fixtures.

4. HVAC Support

• Assist with maintenance of split units, package units, ducting, and ventilation systems.
• Clean filters, check refrigerant levels, inspect motors, and perform basic troubleshooting.

5. Safety & Compliance

• Follow all safety procedures and maintain safe working practices at job sites.
• Ensure tools and equipment are in good working condition.
• Report hazards, incidents, and required materials to supervisors.

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Update job cards, maintenance logs, and service reports.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and clients regarding job status.

7. Customer Service

• Maintain a professional attitude and provide excellent customer service.
• Ensure neatness, cleanliness, and proper housekeeping at job sites.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma/ITI certification in Electrical, Mechanical, or related trade.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a multi-skilled technician.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and civil maintenance.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Good communication skills and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift tools/equipment up to moderate weights.
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
• Capable of standing, bending, and moving for extended periods.

Work Environment

• Indoor and outdoor working environments depending on project needs.
• May require shift work, weekend work, or emergency callouts.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED2,500.00 per month
