Multi-Skilled Textile Technician (Industrial Fabric Fabrication)

Seeking a dependable, well-rounded Fabric Fabrication Technician with hands-on experience with industrial sewing machines, hot air-welding equipment, measuring, cutting/slitting, packaging, and inventory control. This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable wearing multiple hats—from operating and assembling equipment to managing inventory and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain industrial sewing machines for the production line
• Operate hot-air welding equipment
• Assemble fabricated parts and components according to specifications and work orders
• Read and interpret basic drawings, diagrams, and instructions
• Manage and track inventory, including materials, parts, and supplies
• Receive, organize, and stock incoming shipments
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment
• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical or operational issues

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of hands-on technical or shop experience (fabrication, manufacturing, or similar)
• Experience operating industrial sewing machines preferred
• Basic welding knowledge or willingness to learn
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift materials and work on your feet for extended periods
• Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a fabrication, manufacturing, or production environment
• Familiarity with inventory systems or basic computer skills

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay: $20.00 - $33.00 per hour
