Job Description

Best Building Work Ltd is looking for an experienced and reliable multi-skilled tradesman to work on ongoing domestic refurbishment projects across Essex and surrounding areas.

The role involves working on full house renovations, including kitchens, bathrooms, and general internal works. You will be expected to carry out a range of tasks across different trades to a good standard, with minimal supervision.

This is ongoing work for the right person, with consistent projects and the opportunity to become part of a regular team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out general refurbishment works within residential properties
• Complete kitchen installations, including units, worktops, and fittings
• Undertake bathroom installations, including basic plumbing connections and fitting
• Perform second fix carpentry, including doors, skirting, architraves, and kitchens
• Carry out basic first fix work, including stud walls and boarding
• Complete tiling (walls and floors) to a good standard
• Undertake patch plastering and preparation work where required
• Carry out painting and decorating works
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timelines
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, especially in occupied homes
• Work independently or as part of a small team
• Communicate effectively with the site manager and follow instructions

Requirements

• Proven experience in domestic refurbishment projects
• Ability to carry out multiple trades competently (carpentry, tiling, basic plumbing, decorating)
• Experience with kitchen and bathroom installations is essential
• Must have own tools
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
• Right to work in the UK
