The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of practical skills across various trades, enabling them to undertake diverse construction, maintenance, and repair projects. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high standards of workmanship across multiple disciplines, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely.

Duties

• Perform carpentry tasks including framing, finishing, and repairs with precision and attention to detail.
• Carry out roofing installations, repairs, and maintenance using appropriate techniques and materials.
• Execute construction painting projects, preparing surfaces and applying paints or finishes as required.
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with safety standards and specifications.
• Undertake masonry work such as bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete finishing.
• Operate welding equipment to join metal components securely in fabrication or repair tasks.
• Apply electrical experience for basic wiring, fixture installation, and troubleshooting electrical issues.
• Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively across various trades to complete tasks efficiently.
• Engage in fabrication activities including cutting, shaping, and assembling materials to meet project specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining safety standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in multiple trades such as carpentry, roofing, masonry, plumbing, welding, or electrical work.
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction and maintenance tasks.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures relevant to construction sites and workshops.
• Ability to read technical drawings and interpret project specifications accurately.
• Excellent organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Physical fitness suitable for demanding manual work in various environmental conditions.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in trades such as carpentry, plumbing, or electrical work are desirable but not essential.

Pay: £15.00-£21.00 per hour
