Multi Skilled Tradesman/woman

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Tradesman to join our small building and refurbishment company. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of construction skills, including carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and electrical experience. This role involves working on diverse projects across the construction and refurbishment sectors, in both commercial and domestic environments. Ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety, The successful applicant will be responsible for executing various tasks with precision and efficiency, contributing to the successful completion of projects on time.

Responsibilities

• Perform joinery tasks such as framing, installing doors, windows, and cabinetry, and general joinery works.
• Conduct masonry work including bricklaying, blockwork, and concrete finishing.
• Install and repair minor plumbing systems in accordance with safety standards and specifications.
• Carry out minor electrical work including wiring, fitting outlets, and troubleshooting electrical issues.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
• Possess a drivers license and be able to time manage effectively.

Skills

• Proven experience in carpentry, masonry, plumbing, or electrical work.
• Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, saws, chisels, etc., as well as power tools like drills, grinders, and saws.
• Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and procedures.
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the capacity to adapt to different tasks quickly.
• Good physical fitness with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks over extended periods.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients.

Pay: £150.00-£210.00 per day
