Multi Skilled Tradesman/woman

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Multiskilled Tradesman to join my clients construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of specialised trades, including carpentry, construction painting, plumbing and painting. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced tradespeople to utilise their skills across multiple disciplines a project that will work on a call out basis. The ideal applicant will be organised, safety-conscious, and capable of working both independently to deliver high-quality workmanship. THIS IS A TEMPORARY VACANCY THAT IS LONG TERM BUT BASED ON A CALL OUT BASIS, A CSCS CARD IS REQUIRED.

Duties

• Perform carpentry tasks such as framing, fitting, and easing doors, window frames and fitting locks
• Conduct construction painting including surface preparation and applying finishes.
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems ensuring compliance with relevant regulation
• replacing fluorescent Lights
• Utilise hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete assigned tasks safely and effectively.
• Basic plubing including fixing dripping taps and unblocking toilet systems
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment while adhering to health and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Competent experience in one or more trades such as carpentry, plumbing, or painting.
• CSCS Card required
• Competence in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Knowledge of construction projects.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications is desirable.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to safety hazards.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in specific trades are preferred but not mandatory depending on experience.
• Physical fitness to perform manual labour in various weather conditions. This position provides an engaging environment for tradespeople eager to apply their skills across a range of construction disciplines while contributing to quality projects within a professional team.

Rate

£17ph- £19ph
